The State Bank of India (SBI) has once again opened doors for aspiring students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with the launch of the Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26. This flagship initiative aims to support meritorious students across India and even abroad by providing financial assistance ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20 lakh, depending on the level of study and course chosen.

The scholarship is designed for a wide range of students, including those in school, undergraduate, postgraduate, medical courses, IIT/IIM programs, and overseas studies. The goal is to make quality education accessible to talented students who face financial constraints.

Key Details and Eligibility

• Application Deadline: November 15, 2025

• Family Income:

  • School students: ≤ ₹3,00,000 per annum

  • Other students: ≤ ₹6,00,000 per annum

• Academic Performance: Minimum 75% marks or 7 CGPA in the previous academic year. SC/ST candidates get 10% relaxation.

• Reservation: 50% of seats for female candidates, 50% for SC/ST candidates
